POSSESSIVE

When
I was
a child
Didn't understand
Why mother was
So possessive,
All the time
Instructive
In her behaviour
In her love.

She always thought us
Very careless,
Very naive,
As a child who needs
A finger to move.
She was every bit a care,
Had lots of affection
To share.

She bares her heart
And brings her mind out,
Whenever got angry,
She relentlessly soughts.
Her embrace was very tight,
For us she had taken
Many decisions-wrong or right.

Now I am
A grown-up man
Who do not care a bit
Nor do think her ways
Being always fit.

But my inner self
Makes me feel,
I ,too, am growing
A little aggressive,
A little possessive.

Perhaps,
This is the way
Our blood streams
And flow,
Flow like a River ripe,
Looking still,
As always be
A latent heat
Of Eternity.

YOU MADE ME

You made the APPLE,
You made me.
But never understood I
Why stopped me
From plucking and eating
The fruit
So delicious,so nice,
Of that Forbidden Tree.
I was told it was vice.

One day I got the Fruit
From that Forbidden Tree.
Along with that came
The Seed of Knowledge
Unveiling the secret of Earth and Sea
That you never wanted to be shared
Between Eve and Me.

You feared for your Place,
You feared for your Face
You discussed it many times,
To save your crown
Your anger new no bounds
We were immediately thrown down,

Deprived of Heaven and Grace,
Together with Eve
We needed great courage to face
The world we were in.
I'll begin afresh
A beginning all new .
With greater creative urge
We will make life to surge
And go beyond horizon
Under the Sun.

The grecious Globe we'll make
With two Hemispheres of Eve and me,
Love will lead the Life,
Progression there would be.

Eve holds the centre
Being Nucleus
Of me and others
Who'll later follow her and me.
You will remain my Mentor,
But We can't accept
Your authoratative approach,
Or any of your reproach.

Though we'll ever miss you,
Remember your lovely Land,
Miss your affectionate touch,
But have the thread of life
In our hands
And never repent much.

Today I am a happy lot
That together we,like you,are creating
A whole new world
Fully dynamic,fully vibrant
With our moon and stars at night
And the rising Sun during the day.

Under the blue sky,
Between the two ends of life
we are making all efforts
To live and Let live,
Making the Earth
My second Home and have
The same pleasure
Thatyou gave.

Yet,we'll surely miss you ever
And believe me we'll forget you never
And keep you always abreast
'cause ultimately You are my Father,
The Almighty.

THE NEST

Sparrows were in dire need
Of a place to live in peace
But kept thinking
Where to find a seat
In this jungle of concrete.
Our happiness crossed all seas,
And soared to the boundless blue,
When Sparrows visited our home
And chose a curvy dome
On the top of my gate
To make their nest
And have a safer fate,
After making round and round
They felt it very safe and sound.
When the sparrows arrived,
It seemed as if someone very close have come,
Our hearts were filled
With unseen pleasure
As if we all got some rare treasure.
Their every effort
Had our full support
Whether they brought some twigs,
Cotton or straw,
Made a furry nest.

One day she laid her eggs
And both kept sitting one by one
And attempted comfort best
Keeping their chicks always abreast.
Later in a week
She hatched them to life
We were the curious onlookers
Of their every move.
They kept going out
And  brought some grain
Fed all the three beaks
Through out the day ,
Through the weeks.
 We were sure
A mother has come
And has brought along some very beautiful gifts.
Her passion for life
 Was all dedication,
All surrender,
And all meditation
They kept their nursing on,
Now skin was turning brown.
We wanted to be the part
Of their party
With our guest of curiosity,
But knew it very well,
It will not serve our,
Or their purpose,
It may not be a necessity.
So we all kept mum and watched silently
Life go cradled
In the nest in our house.
But fate had else in store,
Pleasure turned sour
When a chic fell to the ground,
The other was taken
To the sky unbound.
The Nest was thoroughly tattered,
Our dreams dashed and shattered.

MOTHER YOU ARE

Mother you are
The noblest medium of Grace
In a mortal attire,
Out of carnel Desire
Full of love,full of life
In miniature,
Nature you are,
Mother you are.

You are the cosmos,
Galaxies you are,
You are the sun,
the moon and stars.
It was you who Adam allured,
And made
the human progression
secured,
For me God you are,
Mother you are.

Whether Kaushalya or Kaikeyee,
Whether Yashoda or vaidehi.
Life got your lap
And Nature became its map,
Civilizations come and go
But love in your bosom ever grow,
You are The Teacher,
Guide you are.
Mother you are .

You brought-up Ravana
You brought-up Ram,
You brought-up Kansa
You brought-up Shyam
Offered utmost care,
Great Mentor you are ,
Mother you are.

Like Nature
you nursed them all
As it was
an eternal call.
You fed them well,
you led them well,
You were the Sunshine
And the light devine.
For everyone
Fare you are,
Mother you are.

What they got and what they met
Wasn't just due to their fate.
Between birth and death,
They had many acts and date,
They are responsible
For what they are,
Mother you are.

You always stay nucleus
And become
A protonic pull
For all throbbing Hearts
Moving in diffrent orbits
And circling in many spheres
Remain glued to your charm
Without having
Any inkling of harm,
You have greater orientation
As you have strong Gravitation.
English summer you are,
Mother you are.

Whatever be the matter,
You keep everyone together.
You are always
A bunch of BOON,
Be it morning,evening or noon.

THE HANGING NEST

There was a green woods
And there was sky blue,
There was a shining Sun,
There was some light and hue,
Though there was shared space,
Yet there was no much race.
Humans with greed
Took more than they need,
Though much of space,
 They forcely acquired,
And that much space
We haven't required.
It was the time when I lost my nest
I lost my calm, I lost my rest.
 Buildings became high rise
And there was no sunrise
People were traitors,
They were senseless cheats
Who I never wish to see
Nor ever like to meet.
Here I fear to flutter
Even with my powerful wings,
And dare not take to sky
Where the dangers lie.
As this haunted me ever
I liked this life never.
So O' Lord, ''Give me a thorny tree
Give me some power,
Give me some place
Where I could weave the best
And hang it on that tree
MAKING IT HANGING NEST.
There to lay my eggs,
There to have some rest.
And there live with peace
There live with grace.
In a week or two, I'll lay my eggs
Hatch them to new  life
Not facing danger Inside home.
I'll feed my little ones,
And give them stronger wings
To fly in the open sky
In the summer, winter or spring.
All dreams came true
In my cozy nest
That we have made
 Out of diffrent waste.
Chicks were chirpy
And restless lot
Who made us busy day and night
They play sometime,
Some time they fight.
But our happiness didn't last more,
Fate had a gloomy day in store.
A saitan visited my nest,
Our dream were badly shattered,
And emotions severely battered
And put to dust for ever.
